Summary of Role

Reporting to the Sales Office Manager the Civil Engineer will be part of the Engineering Department providing solutions for SUDS applications. They will be responsible for promoting and securing specifications for our D-Rainclean, Geostorage and Stormwater products.

We are looking to grow our Engineering Department and looking for someone with the enthusiasm to work effectively within the team to ensure market leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

Training in specific technical aspects of the work will be provided through a combination of mentoring and provision of training courses as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the company business plan and philosophy
  • Achieve personal and teams targets
  • Contact consultant engineers, private and public organisations to arrange visits to gain specifications and promote solutions with Stormwater Management.
  • Create and maintain a database of engineers, consultants and specifiers in the area of drainage and filtration systems
  • Provide CPD style presentations on Stormwater Management and their applications
  • Maintain under review the specifications, construction standards and use of Stormwater Management
  • Make site visits to support Stormwater Management installations

Requirements of the Role

  • A qualified Civil Engineer with experience in the commercial field for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in hydraulic applications and drainage systems
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Computer literate with good keyboard skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Keen drive to succeed
