The Hansam Group gets baking to beat MS!
Posted on 15/May/2015
The Hansam Group has helped to raise ‘lots of dough’ for the MS Society by taking part in Cake Break, collecting £100 and creating awareness for this amazing cause.
The MS Society challenged people to get baking during May to help them raise money to support people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the UK. Everyone rose to the challenge by baking a selection of cakes and also taking part in the ‘Cupcake Wars’.
The condition which attacks the central nervous system, causes symptoms such as problems with mobility and balance, vision, dizziness and fatigue, to come and go or get steadily worse. The cause is still unknown but most people start having symptom’s in their 20s and 30s and it affects almost three times as many women as men.
Jemima Woolgar, from the MS Society said: “We’d like to thank everyone who got involved with Cake Break this year. It’s always great fun and an opportunity for people to get together and spend quality time with their friends and family whilst also raising money for a good cause.”
