Annual Fundraiser Update

With only two weeks to go until our Annual Fundraising Day in support of the Local Air Ambulance, excitement is definitely beginning to build within the Geosynthetics Ltd and Stormwater Management office. With the theme of ‘Up Up and Away’ already decided the team are hard at work planning their costumes to claim the prestigious ‘Best Dressed’ award off serial winner, Steven Wells. The day will also see the return of the much anticipated and hotly contested Hansam Quiz as well as the famous raffle which already includes incredible prizes such as; Red Letter Day Vouchers, laser quest membership and tattoo voucher to name just a few.
The Air Ambulance Service are a non-government funded charity that flies two local air ambulances, across the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire (WNAA) and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland (DLRAA). The two helicopters provide a rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies over an area of 3850 square miles covering many of the UK’s major road networks including the M1, M6, M69 and M42. With an average response of just 13 minutes, between them, our aircrafts attend on average 6 missions a day.
